By pressing the menu you would be able to change the recording size to 1080p.
The exposure controls involve the ISO, shutter speed and aperture which have to be set to a certain amount in order to get the effect that you are looking for. For example the shutter speed should be set to a 50th of a second to avoid motion blur. Another example would be ISO, in natural daylight it should be set on 100, if it is higher than 1600 then the image/video will become grainy and over exposed.
In the menu section you would be able to change the picture style, ideally it should be set on neutral to get a flat video to then edit in post production.
White balance gives good lighting and almost adjusts the colours of the light in that room.
Ideally MF (manual focus) should be used so that during the filming the camera isn't constantly auto focusing and making a weird noise. Auto focus is usually used for photography.
